"Tim Ellis is a singer/songwriter who croons to the tune of R&B influenced
jazzy vocals that really showcases his falsetto. It’s intimate vocals first and
foremost that immediately jump out at you followed by the light accompanying
percussion and boisterous guitar licks. Lyrically he shows no fear talking about
how his girl is a porn star on “Porn Star” or the nation’s appetite for apathy on
“What’s the Point”. It’s different, which you can’t usually say about the majority
of singer/songwriters struggling to find their groove in New York City—then again
Tim moved from the Big Apple to London, an even hipper spot for new unfound
musicians."

Tim Ellis is one of these individuals....The result is experienced guitar playing with very deep themed lyrics, not easily digest-able to the common listener....The lyrics are very personal, revealing and with convincing desperation. Cool sounds and clever lyrics bring us home with this acoustical barrage of good times! Funky, bluesey and dance along movements are all found here. I'm very impressed with the wisdom found in Tim's musical compositions. Brings me to a down home blues bar with every listen. I can feel the depths of the passion he feels as he croons along with his guitar. Tim is beyond his years with this outing! Foot tapping is incredibly hard to resist! Though this gentleman was raised with the likes of Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, the Stones and Hendrix...it is truly apparent that the blues aspect of music is what has been deeply engrained in his system. And thank whomever you pray to for that! We need more musicians to dig back to their roots and give us some "real" music to tickle our ears.
